Twice a year, we love the chance to hear from our prophet, apostles, and other leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Watching 8 hours of General Conference in a weekend is filled with inspiring and uplifting Christian messages. Keeping kids busy for that time is always a bit of a challenge. I’ve spent several years putting together packets and activities to keep little hands and minds busy while we sit and watch. So many blogs have incredible resources, but most are geared toward older kids. The activities and packets I’ll share are for younger little ones.
For the most part, I pull a few worksheets or activities from each of these packets, to make some activities that will keep my kids engaged.
General Conference Activities for Kids

Here are some dot to dot worksheets; Jesus and the Lamb, Jesus and with a Child, God is Love.
My kids love stickers and dot markers. These church do a dot pages have been favorites among my kids for years. I’ve printed them out and had kids do them with do markers. I also laminated a copy of each of these for the kids to color and put stickers on. I also found a rainbow do a dot page, that my kids love. My kids really will do these forever, so I also printed out a star and heart do a dot worksheet for each of them.
Activities that require cutting and gluing keep my kids busy for awhile. Here is one of The Creation. Another one is this cute activity of getting the prophet ready for conference.
Here is a cute lamb activity with the letter L. I let my kids use dot markers on the bubble letter, and glue cotton balls onto the lamb.
This conference packet is really good, I used the cover for my kids’ packets. Some of the other activities are still a little too advanced for them, but I’m sure we’ll use them some day.
Another fun print out is this PDF of tie outlines. It’s a simple way for younger kids to pay attention to the speaker, by coloring the tie and writing the name under each tie.
The Church has so many amazing coloring sheets and activities. I’ll just link to their main page here.
I printed out this heart outline and gave the kids red construction paper pieces and glue sticks to fill it in.
Other Conference Traditions
Along with watching hours of conference, we love eating our favorite cinnamon rolls. If you haven’t tried these before, they’re so good and so worth the labor of love. This recipe is easy to follow and even though they take some time, they’re delicious!
Hopefully, your little ones will enjoy these activities and stay busy for a little bit so you can listen and learn from the incredible messages that will be shared. Have a great conference weekend!
Sincerely,
