Meal planning can be so time-consuming, which is why I wanted to work on this project. To simplify meal planning each week, I designed these basic, dinner menu cards. You can download the PDF and edit it, by adding your own meals to the card.
In addition to simplifying meal planning, I also wanted something to display in our home so everyone would know the plan. To make these a little heavier duty, I’ll be printing them out on card stock, and then posting on a clipboard, to hang in our mini-mudroom area.
Using these cards, I’m going to make a rotation of weekly meal plans so that I can automate meal planning. Making healthy meals for a family of 5 takes a lot of time, so eliminating the time spent on deciding what we’ll have for dinners, will be so helpful!
I’ll continually add menu cards I’ve completed so you can download them and print them for free. Download this week’s menu plan here, to simplify your meal planning.
On the wall of our mini-mudroom we have our Huckleberry Paper calendar, a “dinner plans” clipboard, and our bucket list clipboard. It’s the perfect spot to post some of these items that help us stay organized and on top of things. I love these simple, but pretty designs all together. It will be so nice to have our meals posted each week, so everyone knows the plan.
I hope you’ll enjoy using these to plan out your meals. As easy as this idea is, I know it will really simplify meal planning. I’m looking forward developing this system, and hope it will be helpful to you as well. What tips and tricks do you use when it comes to meal planning and meal prep? I would love to get more ideas!
Sincerely,
