My kids really enjoy arts and crafts, so I’ve had to step up my game and learn how to accommodate. Pinterest saves me! We also have a deep love of reading, so I like to combine a Valentine’s Day craft for kids with books that we’re reading.
If you’re looking for cute Valentine’s Day books for kids, I’ve got a whole list of our favorites here.
Here are some simple ideas of books to read, and crafts to go along with them. All you need is construction paper, glue, paint, and paper plates. Since these Valentine’s Day crafts for kids are pretty straight forward, I won’t give a tutorial or go into details. As long as you can cut out paper hearts, you should be all set.
I also rounded up a bunch of fun crafts and free coloring sheets on my Pinterest board: Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids.
People are so much more creative than me. My kids love doing arts and crafts for the holidays, and these ideas have made it so easy. All I have to do is make sure we have the supplies or print out the sheets and we can have a month full of Valentine’s-themed activities. I hope you’ll enjoy these Valentine’s Day crafts for kids.
Sincerely,
