- Combine water and oats into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes. I like to put it in for a minute and a half, then add another 30 seconds- 1 minute (to avoid having it bubble over).Remove from the microwave and stir in maple syrup (or honey), peanut butter, and desired amount of milk. Top with banana pieces and chocolate chips, then sprinkle with chia seeds. Serve warm.
